Step Into History is a part show, part walking tour, and part immersive experience production suitable for the whole family to enjoy.

During our original comical-yet-rather-gruesome immersive performance, audiences (playing the role of scientists) will get up close & personal to unsavory characters from Victorian and Georgian Liverpool as we hear their unique stories and try to get to the bottom of how they've time traveled to 2024.

Meet the Judge (who prefers to humiliate criminals rather than punish them with jail time), the Black Widow Ladies (who enjoy killing off their husbands with arsenic), the Body Snatchers (who will pay a hefty price for every dead body brought to them), and the scientist-turned-medium Psychic Stu (who's responsible for bringing these historical characters back to life).

In typical Theatre on Foot fashion, this isn't your regular production. Audiences will move alongside the action throughout Liverpool's most cherished park - Sefton Park.

"Scientists, follow me if you'd like to hear stories of MURDER, GREED, WAR and... architecture."

SHOW TIMES: Both shows start @ 7.45pm (lasting approx. 45 minutes each)

TICKET PRICE: £4 (adults, kids, OAPs, students, etc.)

LOCATION: Meet at the edge of Sefton Park, near the ZEBRA CROSSING opposite LARK LANE.

ON ARRIVAL: Please arrive at the location and have your tickets ready to show on either a mobile device or printed. Your TOUR GUIDES will move you onto the first show location at precisely 7.45pm.

The Show With No Name

Performed by our Juniors

THIS SHOW IS NOW FINISHED AND WAS PERFORMED ON:

Thursday 30th November @ 7.30pm

The Show With No Name will eventually have a name. But as it's down to our awesome Junior actors to decide on a title next term - along with other key show elements (what costumes we should wear, what scripts we should perform, and what should be on the poster, etc.) - audiences will have to wait a little longer, we're afraid.

What we can tell you now though, is that WE CANNOT WAIT TO PERFORM FOR YOU!!! The Show With No Name is a relaxed sharing of what our youngest actors (aged 6-11) at Theatre on Foot get up to on a weekly basis. There'll be drama games galore, scripted show backs, improvisations, competitions, awards, & screaming... lots and lots of screaming (wearing ear plugs is advised).

For many of the kids taking part this is their first introduction to the wonderful world of performing, and we're really excited to present them with a sea of happy smiling faces to show off in front of.

This inaccurately historical production, which time travels hundreds of years into the future and crosses over with the year 2020, examines how we dealt with our very own pandemic, and will have audiences rolling in the aisle with laughter as larger-than-life characters and storylines are brought to life by a wonderful cast of actors.

The venue staff can't wait to put their shift from hell behind them, and the happy couple are nowhere to be seen!

And then enter the thieves. A ragtag group of misfits with their eyes on the jewellery store, the shop next to The White Lion pub; the venue of the wedding party. But will they manage to break in without being seen, or will the wedding party stop squabbling for two seconds to spot there's a heist taking place right under their noses?
