Our Intensive Acting Courses for Adults are outrageously fun show rehearsals (& film shoots) for anyone who wants to give drama a go, regardless of age, ability or background.

Fun is at the centre of what we do at Theatre on Foot, and we want to share our evenings with those who are up for a giggle, willing to try their hand at something new, eager to make friends, committed to producing awesome live productions for audiences and excited to immerse themselves into the wonderful world of acting & drama.

Our premise is simple: we pick a random week (usually in Half Terms & School Holidays) and rehearse a full length play over 5 consecutive evenings (Monday to Friday @ 6.30-9.30pm). We deep-dive into the text, block the scenes, experiment with techniques, create immersive worlds, bring characters to life, rehearse like our lives depend on it, and polish what we've created until it's ready for an audience.

We then perform our play to a packed audience on the Saturday night at another local venue - we've performed in theatres, church halls, woodlands, and even tunnels before.

And throughout our highly enjoyable week, we play silly drama games, create stories, make friends for life, share ideas, network, and laugh until we cry.
